Silver medal for Sant'Ilia Muscat Ottonel 2013

Edoardo Miroglio winery is pleased to announce that Sant'Ilia Muscat Ottonel 2013 was awarded a SILVER medal at Muscats du Monde® 2014 (France). The 14th edition of the Muscats du Monde® international competition organised by Forum Oenologie, was held on July 2-3, 2014 in the city of Frontignan-la-Peyrade (Languedoc-Roussillon, France). Muscats du Monde® 2014 brought together 23 countries, making this competition one of the world’s top events for Muscats wines. Over the course of two days, international experts tasted 208 still and sparkling Muscats wines. Strict quality standards and optimal tasting conditions enabled the judges to award 73 medals (25 Gold, 48 Silver) that are recognised as a reliable criterion for selection. The Top 10 ranking honor seven countries: South Africa, Australia, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.

Incontestably the 2014 award list honor VDN (Sweet Natural Wine) and naturally sweet Muscats. South Africa, Australia, Bulgaria, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal reaffirm also the quality of their productions. Switzerland, Russia, United-States and Romania reach the level of the best.
